How to run your 0G Validator Node via SATEA

Step 1: Purchase the 0G Validator Node

1. Login to app.satea.io and select 0G

2. Select the node type: 0G Validator Node

3. Select the number of nodes and node duration

After confirming that there are no errors, please follow the instructions to complete the payment.

Step 2: Waiting to configure the node

After the payment is done, you can customise the node name, profile and description. Please click on the open-ticket channel in the official Satea Discord: https://discord.com/invite/satea and select Open Ticket to open a ticket and submit the information.

Submit Content:

• Satea Registration Email

• Node Name

• Node Description

• Node Profile

If you have purchased more than one 0G node for the same account, please send all the required information about the node.

Please send your customised node information within 24 hours of purchasing the node by opening a ticket in Satea Discord, and the Satea team will reply to Discord to confirm the sending. If you do not send your customised node information within 24 hours, the name, profile and description of the node you purchased will be randomised by Satea itself.

Notes for filling in node information:

As the node name, profile and description can be linked to the node operator's social media, website, etc., which in turn reflects the node operator's experience and community contributions, try to keep it the same as your usual social media. Or if you have experience running validator nodes in other projects, you can use your previous validator's node name and profile for 0G's node validators.

The system will automatically configure and synchronise the nodes, which is expected to be completed within 2 working days, with no additional operations required.

Once the configuration is complete, the platform will disclose detailed node information to fill out the node application form. Node information includes:

• Node Name

• Validator Address

• Instance capacity (Include CPU cores, RAM size, Disk Size, Network Bandwidth, Number of instances, etc.)

• Validator public RPC Endpoint

• Storage node public IP address

• Storage KV public IP address

Step 3: Fill in the 0G Validator Node application form to enhance community contribution

According to 0G official blog, about 125 Validator Nodes will be selected for this test network phase.

Application Requirements: Only applicants who apply through the form will be considered.

Selection Criteria: Selection is based on the following criteria:

• 20% community activity

• 60% Past Testnet on-chain activity

• 20% Roles

Every 2 weeks, Validators who are unable to provide a strong service will be discarded and new Validators will be selected.

Therefore, after completing the 0G Validator Node configuration, users should fill in the application form and actively contribute in the community.

Form Filling Tutorials:

1. Discord id (Fill the text under your profile name instead of the id number)

   Fill in your Discord ID to make sure you are on the official 0G Discord and stay highly active in helping community members solve problems to increase your chances of being selected.

2. Validator address (Fill your 0g account which starts with 0gvaloper)

   Fill in the Validator address, which has been disclosed in the Satea node management backend.

3. Instance capacity

   (Include CPU cores, RAM size, Disk Size, Network Bandwidth, Number of instances, etc)

   Fill in Instance capacity, which has been disclosed in the Satea node management backend.

4. Current/past network activities

   (If you are participating or have participated in other networks' mainnet/testnet, please include detailed information here, e.g. network name, testnet/mainnet, your validator address, etc)

   Fill in your previous project participation experience, whether on test or main network. If you have similar experience, please submit information such as the project name, your validator node address, etc.

5. Organization website (if applicable)

   Fill in your website. Official websites/social media are acceptable.

6. Validator public RPC Endpoint

   Filling in Validator public RPC Endpoint has been disclosed in the Satea node management backend.

7. Storage node public IP address

   Filling in the Storage node public IP address has been disclosed in the Satea node management backend.

8. Storage KV public IP address

   Fill in the Storage KV public IP address, which has been disclosed in the Satea node management backend.

9. Your contributions to the community, including explorer, documentation, snapshot

   Your contributions to the community. You can submit Discord contribution records, Github submissions, etc.

10. Have you developed any applications on top of 0G or Storage services? Include your app's information link

    Have you developed an application on 0G or its storage service? If yes, please include a link to the application.

11. Have you shared 0G on social media? include your links

    You can submit a record of your Twitter, blog, and other platforms where you have posted content introducing 0G, node tutorials, and other content.

12. Any bugs or PRs that you post to our code repositories? (You can include discord tickets)

    Have you submitted bugs or PRs in 0G's codebase, also including records of DC tickets? If so, include a link or screenshot.

13. Are you interested in long term collaboration?
